This means that the feet of those wearing the LOWA R-6 are kept warm, dry, and comfortable, allowing them to stay active and on their feet for longer. Ideal for urban terrain and natural landscapes, the GORE-TEX® fabric lining is supported by the boots LOWA Patrol sole. These soles are made with a specially designed profile that provides boots with remarkable traction and allows wearers to operate confidently in wet, muddy, or even icy environments. To ensure the grip they provide is not compromised, the LOWA Patrol soles’ profile is also self-cleaning.
Versatile and lightweight, these black LOWA R-6 Tactical Boots are recognised occupational footwear and have been EN ISO 20347: 2012 certified. This means that they come with cleated oil-resistant outsoles that have a resistance to penetrative forces and water absorption, as well as anti-static, energy absorbing heels. It is important to note, however, that occupational boots are not safety boots and do not have steel-toes or midsoles. These LOWA boots do give a little extra though, with thermal-resistant soles that can provide protection against temperatures as high as 150°C and as low as -20°C for over 30 minutes.
