LOWA Warranty and Repairs

The warranty is based on the legal requirements set by the country in which the customer lives. Should defects occur during this period, we will repair them under your retailer’s warranty. The guarantor and contact for claims is always the retailer with which you concluded the purchase transaction. We cannot, unfortunately, assume any responsibility for damage caused by improper care and incorrect use.

All Lowa shoes which are professionally used: ie, the Task Force/Professional collection carry a limited warranty period of 6 months. If your LOWA boots need repair of replacement due to defect in workmanship or materials, simply return your LOWA boots to your LOWA boots retailer with proof of purchase.

LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTY:

The warranty on your LOWA boots is limited to the warranty set forth above. Such warranty does not apply to ordinary wear and tear, damage resulting from abuse, negligence, exposure to animal waste, or prolonged use in acidic soil (peat), improper repairs, inadequate fit, alterations, modifications or if your LOWA boots are used other than in the manner intended. There are no other warranties that extend beyond the description on the face hereof.

IMPORTANT:

Dealers and/or consumers must email/ call Task Force Distribution Ltd for a return authorisation. Your returned boots must also be accompanied by the sales receipt. No returns will be accepted without the return authorisation and receipt.

BOOT RETURNS

Boot returns are initially handled by the store where you made the purchase. If you purchased your boots from lowamilitaryboots.com web site, please call 01752 344355 to request a return authorisation or request a returns authorisation HERE

Boots may be returned if they do not fit properly, provided they have not been worn outdoors and are in absolute brand new condition and free from dirt, complete with packaging and free from creases or scuff marks. (Wear new boots indoors to make sure they fit and feel comfortable before venturing outside.) Please try on your boots with the socks you intend to wear and walk around indoors to make sure that your new boots fit the way you want them to. Please do not remove any tags or labels until you are ready to keep your boots. Poor or improper fit is not considered a valid warranty item.

Once a boot is worn, it cannot be returned to either your LOWA retailer or LOWA distributor.

BOOT SOLE SEPARATION (Hydrolysis)

Hydrolysis is a normal material aging process that occurs in all footwear with a cushioned PU midsole independent of the manufacturer.

Sole units will degrade if your footwear is used only occasionally and is stored for long periods of time.

Sole units degrade faster if the footwear is not worn regularly. When a PU midsole begins to deteriorate, you'll see small cracks along the injection area, above the sole unit. This is an indication that your boots are wearing out.

This is not for warranty on LOWA walking and trekking boots.
