Joel Lambert Relies On LOWA Boots For His Mongolian Manhunt

Each episode of 'Manhunt' begins with Lambert situated in an unfamiliar setting with nothing more than basic survival equipment and water. Using only these standard provisions and anything nature is kind enough to provide, Lambert has a day and a half to make his way from his remote starting point to a designated extraction zone; all the while being mercilessly pursued by unyielding foes.

Proficient in SERE techniques, in episode six of ‘Manhunt’ Lambert faces-off against temperatures as low as -22°C, traditional Mongolian tracking skills, and animal instincts in a race to cross the finish line. Throughout his adventure in Mongolia, Lambert can be seen wearing an array of apparel that is well-suited to the frigid Mongolian climate; oddly including a pair of LOWA Zephyr Boots.

At a glance some might confuse the LOWA Zephyr with traditional winter-mountaineering footwear, but these lightweight mid-boots come with several welcome additions. Made with durable suede-leather uppers, these military boots come with GORE-TEX® lining that was developed to improve the wearer’s comfort and ward against fatigue. Waterproof and built with longevity in mind, these LOWA boots are part of the Task Force collection and stand out thanks to their high-quality manufacture, functional design and striking aesthetics.
