The LOWA Boreas GORE-TEX® Mid S3 Safety Boots is a result of the cooperation between LOWA and ELTEN. Accordingly, these safety boots combine the positive features of both companies. The upper material consists of a robust hydrophobised nubuck leather which is breathable and wear-resistant. The full, padded bellows tongue prevents the penetration of dirt into the shoe and avoids that painful pressure point. The LOWA Boreas Safety Boot GORE-TEX® Mid S3 is equipped with an ergonomically shaped steel toe cap which offers comfortable room for the toes. Penetration protection is provided by a steel midsole. Slip resistance is provided to the LOWA Boreas Safety Boot GORE-TEX® Mid S3 by the anti static RUBBER/PU Vibram with MONOWRAP technology sole unit, which is also abrasion & notch resistant. It is heat-resistant to approx: 200°C & for short periods up to to 300°C, it is also flexible at cold temperature to approx -20° C as well as oil and fuel resistant that inlcude a large number of chemcical (acids & alkalis).
